Ignite Calvert and Spark Calvert 2026 Summer Camps

Calvert County Public Schools invites rising 1st through 5th grade students to participate in IGNITE Calvert, and rising 5th through 8th grade students to participate in SPARK Calvert. These week-long summer camps engage learners in hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities that promote teamwork, exploration, creativity, and motivation.

Camp Options

IGNITE Calvert

• Windy Hill Elementary: July 20–24
• Windy Hill Elementary: July 27–31
• Mutual Elementary: Aug. 3–7

SPARK Calvert

• Southern Middle: July 20–24

Camp Details

Camp sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and include exciting learning experiences and STEM-themed activities, including a field trip to the Maryland Science Center.

With only 40 slots available per week, early registration is highly encouraged.

The camps are sponsored by the Office of Gifted, Advanced Learning, and STEM at Calvert County Public Schools.
